Concrete Floor Coating in Apex, NC

Sealed, durable, easy-to-clean coatings for basements, patios, workshops, warehouses, and commercial slabs. Epoxy and fast-curing polyaspartic systems installed over properly prepped concrete.

Coatings for every kind of concrete floor

Bare concrete is porous. It absorbs oil, water, and stains, gives off dust as it wears, and is hard to keep clean. A quality coating seals the surface, brightens the space, and turns a rough slab into a floor that's genuinely easy to maintain — indoors or out, residential or commercial.

Around Apex and the Triangle, we coat all kinds of concrete: basement floors that homeowners want to finish, workshop and hobby-garage floors, patios and sunrooms, and light commercial spaces like shops, warehouses, and storage areas. The right system depends on how the space is used, and we'll match it to your floor.

Epoxy or polyaspartic — matched to the job

  • Solid-color epoxy — a clean, sealed, uniform finish that's ideal for basements and interior spaces.
  • Polyaspartic systems — fast-curing and UV-stable, often back in service the next day and well suited to spaces you can't leave offline for long.
  • Flake or quartz broadcast — added texture and grip for shops, entries, and wet or high-traffic areas.

Prep is where durability comes from

The most common reason a concrete coating fails is inadequate prep — coating over a sealed, dusty, or damp slab. We mechanically grind the concrete to open the surface, repair cracks and pits, and account for moisture before anything is applied. That's what lets the coating bond and stay bonded.

Concrete coatings typically fall in the $3–$7 per square foot range depending on the size and condition of the slab, the system, and any repairs. Larger commercial areas are quoted per project. A free on-site estimate gives you an accurate number for your space.

Common questions

Concrete floor coating FAQs

Can you coat a basement floor?

Yes. Basements are one of the most common concrete coating projects — a sealed floor cuts dust, resists moisture, and makes the space far more usable. We'll check for moisture and recommend the right system.

Do you handle commercial and warehouse floors?

We do. Shops, warehouses, storage areas, and light commercial spaces are a good fit for durable epoxy and polyaspartic systems. Larger areas are quoted per project.

What about outdoor patios?

Exterior concrete needs a UV-stable system so it won't yellow in the sun — polyaspartic top coats are well suited to it. Tell us about the space and we'll recommend accordingly.

How disruptive is the install?

The space needs to be cleared and stays out of use during prep and cure. Polyaspartic systems shorten that window considerably, often returning to service the next day.
